Nellie's Little Hero
Hannah Lewis is one of the bravest little heroes of mine that I have grown to love and adore. For only being eight years old, Hannah has been through so much. When she was only 5 years old she started to complain about her head hurting, so they took her to the hospital to find out what was causing her headaches. The doctors told her parents what every parent fears, “I’m sorry, but your child has cancer”. Hannah was diagnosed with a rare soft tissue tumor called rhabdomyosarcoma. I met Hannah when she was turning 7 and she was in remission for her cancer. Ironically enough Eden Adams, which modeled in our first fashion show, met Hannah when they were both in the hospital together and became best 
friends. When Eden lost her life to cancer this past January, I remember Hannah sitting on my lap at Eden’s funeral and I was the one balling and she just hugged me and told me everything was going to be okay. Hannah is such a special little girl that truly has changed my life. She is like my little sister that I have never had and I thank God for us crossing paths. Hannah has been a model in our summer fashion show for the past 2 years and we have girls nights all the time. Who said your role model couldn’t be younger than you. I love you Hannah with all of my heart and I am so proud of you staying strong through everything. XO: Nellie
